Scheduled Reporting

Go to Report then Settings to set up or view your File Transfer Protocol (FTP) access. Inside you will see the General setting, FTP Credentials, Scheduled Reporting , and a grid containing the list of installations, where you can select those that you want to be included in the scheduled reporting. Please see more details below.

General Setting

Timezone Offset - Select your preferred timezone offset from this dropdown. Offsets are defined based on their interval from UTC. The selected offset will then be used by the scheduler, the report file content (datetime inside the csv report will be based on this offset), and the report grid under "Report" tab.

FTP Credential

FTP Credential

  • You will have default values for the username and password. However, password can be updated anytime you want. Please provide a password that is 6-14 characters with uppercase and lowercase and has numbers on it.

  • You can use these credentials to access your FTP folder using an FTP tool like FileZilla or WinSCP.

Scheduled Reporting

Scheduled Reporting

  • This page also includes a section where you can set the schedule / frequency of the report generation. It means, reports will be automatically generated for you based on the settings you have set.

  • You also have the option to select the filename format.

  • Files will be generated in csv.

Available schedules/frequencies

  • Disable - this will disable the report generation.

  • Every end of day - report generation is scheduled every end of day. That means, the automatic process of generating reports will begin at 23:59 of the timezone offset you selected. This will cover the past 24 hours data.

  • Every end of week - report generation is scheduled every end of the week. That means, the automatic process of generating reports will be triggered every Sunday at 23:59 of the timezone offset you selected. This will cover the past 7 days data.

  • Every end of month - report generation is scheduled every end of the month (30th/31st in all months except February, which is 28th / 29th). That means, the automatic process of generating reports will be triggered every end of the month at 23:59 of the timezone offset you selected. This will cover the entire month data.

Filename Format

Here are the options that you can select for the filename format of the reports that will be generated:

  • Report_installationId_YYYY-MM-DD-hhmmss-to-YYYY-MM-DD-hhmmss.csv

  • Report_installationId_YYYYMMDDhhmmss-to-YYYYMMDDhhmmss.csv

  • Report_installationId_YYMMMDD-hhmmss-to-YYMMMDD-hhmmss.csv

Note: Report generation will take few minutes before it can be completed. It really depends on the amount of data.

Downloading reports using FTP

Report files can be accessed directly via FTP, using an FTP tool like WinSCP or FileZilla. Kindly refer to the FTP Credentials section to get the needed details.

Inside the FTP server, you will see folders named by date. To locate your report, kindly go to the folder named after the date you're expecting a report. For example, you are expecting a report for January 01, 2022, kindly find the folder "2022-01-01".

Downloading reports using File Manager

Another way to download reports is using the File Manager. In this tab, you will see a list of files generated over a period of time. You can select filters such as preset time "Range" or specific "Start Date" and "End Date", as well as "Installation". Then you can click the "Download" link under the "Action" column to download the report.
